How MILA came about
Built on 20 years of event practice. Developed entirely in-house.
MILA wasn't created at a desk but backstage. André Heinermann, CEO of MILA, has been planning and delivering events for 20 years – from corporate events to international congresses. The same question kept coming up: how can every guest understand every word without interpreting becoming the biggest budget item and a logistical feat?
There was no off-the-shelf solution. So we built one ourselves: MILA is 100% our own development. Speech recognition, AI translation and real-time voice output come together in a single console that works like a mixing desk – right on site and without the cloud.
That's why MILA is made for event professionals with high standards: event agencies, congress and conference organisers, companies, associations and institutions. Our system technician integrates MILA into your interpreting equipment, your conference system or your livestream and looks after the transmission from soundcheck to the final applause.
